Track editing for MACs?

Does anyone know how to get the track editor working on a mac
i tried the windows way but it doesnt work

just go where to you start the game in the run command thing than get the game or whatever its called then put this in the end of it --editor if you need pics i can put some up cose i ot a mac too

Pics would be nice cos i cant figure it out. i know im a fail
