OK I am seriously dissappointed. I just spent $40 on this game. And of course I dont have the most recent drivers. I followed the instructions and even downloaded the driver sweeper and used that as well. I installed the driver fro ATI from the first link. It still lagged like crazy. So I looked in this thread and saw later versions available. SO I then used the Driver Sweeper again. Rebooted, went to the lnk to download the latest 10.12 update, and it still lags even worse! SO I rebooted to see if that would fix it. But no it didnt, I am completely lost and would like to know how to start from scratch with no driers or someting and get this thing working. Somebody PLEASE HELP ME!!
-Thanks

ATI Radeon 9800 XT

IM actually trying it again EXACTLY sep by step just like he said. Ive downloaded the graphics driver off of the listed link 10.12 and just before Im almost done with the process it says "failed to connect to detection server" or something. IM thinking about trying an older version? 10.06 maybe?

I just checked ATI's site for you, and it looks like they've stopped updating the drivers for the 9800 at version 10.2. Unfortunately, 10.1 and 10.2 had some major memory leak problems, so I'd try either 9.7 or 9.12. Techpowerup has the older drivers.

Yes, but it's your motherboard that you need to look at to see if it can support it.
