Single player 4K Slow mo

Hey, got a 4k tv and changed the mxs game resolution up to suit the screen size and now when i play its in slow motion. FPS says 60 and it doesnt move, just stays at 60 so dont get whats going on, any help would be appreciated.

I get that if I have texture resolution on 1024x1024. Try a way lower setting. Your pc might not be able to handle the 4K resolution.

it can handle it, been playing gta, just cause and ranbow six siege on it, all run fine, its not lagging, it runs smooth but just in slow motion

Have you toggled an fps count in the command line?

the --showfps thing? If so then yeah but to be honest i dont think its to do with the fps. The fps is fine in game, it runs smooth but it just runs in slow motion

i said revolution, i meant video mode, anyway that was on the right setting and was getting slow mo for some reason but ive just put it on 4096x2160 there and its running great now, damn it looks sick

Unlock the FPS. I did that in the target line. I locked it to 125 to see what it would do and my laptop couldn't handle it so it was slow mo.

sorry for bringing this back up again but my game is just lagging so much and i have no idea why.
Originally i did change it to the 4k video mode and it was running fine, little less FPS as expected but still like, 50-60ish, or if i was in an online server it went to about 30-45.
Anyway, now im getting lag spikes randomly, i hadnt changed anything. I tried to solve the problem myself by putting the video mode to 1440P, then 1080p, then even just hit the present "use high fps settings" but the amount of lag stays the same.

Its weird, it flickers between the FPS of 29, 30 and 125. Just them 3, i dont mean from 30-125. it just goes like, 29,30,125,29,30,125 etc. And thats regardless of what settings im running or what track im on

Playing in "windowed mode" can give unexpected lag. However your fps should still be higher. I know that I've encountered that problem from time to time, but for me, it usually just goes from 30 to 60 to 125, like the game realizes that it has more power to deal with. What's your pc specs?

My spec is really good, runs pretty much everything maxed out, normally run mxs at 125fps but its just now flickering from 30ish and 125fps but its pretty much unplayable. Tried windowed mode and it made no difference

1024x1024 terrain textures are really wasteful. Their only use is for making movies/screenshots at low FOV settings. Use 256x256.

I am now, I've even used your preset high fps setting but whether I'm playing maxed out or whether I'm playing in the lowest graphics possible I still have this strange lag, I put my video mode back to 1080p but it made no difference, it's weird

This probably isn't the problem, but if you have a decent card "normal" is likely to be faster than "high fps". The reason is "normal" enables shaders which allows the game to use the graphics card to do the bone transformations.

Tried that and still lagging the same amount, the fps even jumps around in the game menu if that helps figure the problem ??

Right, i dont know what ive done but now its flickering at around 60fps so that's good Hopefully problems solved, if not i'll come back here looking stupid again, thanks for trying to help though!
