Putting gloves on Gear

Hey, i want to put gloves on my gear on Photoshop. But every time i try it gets like this

The gloves are probably 2k x 4k instead of 1k x 2k. Try size them down before duplicating the layer to that document.

Doesn't the gloves loose quality when you scale the down?

At least, when I do that with a logo they loose quality

Obviously they do since they in this case would be a 1/4 of the "orininal size". However you don't need 4k stuff unless you're going to take some screenshots.

And to make a template in 4k, do I need to open the blend file? Or it can be done trough Photoshop?

No you don't. From what I think (and it seems), the template should only be the same aspect ratio as the UV map exported with the JM's. So if it's 2:1, then you can scale it any 2:1 scale, or if it's 1:1, you can have any 1:1 scale (only values that are 2^n are eligible to be used). However if you have a 2k template that is NOT made purely in vectors, the already graphics will scale up as usual while the new stuff you add after you've scaled up will be 4k.
