Help with my new gtx 1060

Hey guys, recently switched from gtx 960 to gtx 1060 6gb and using 256x256 with shaders direct, i had NO problem keeping the 125 fps in supercross with the 960 and with the 1060 im always on 125 but sometimes it drops to 111 and i can feel it (a bit laggy)

My vsync if turned to off .. do you have any idea what could cause that?

I had an integrated gpu, i was like 12fps all day. Anyway now i'm on a Rx 470, and yeah,
i can tell you that from 125 to 111 there's a big difference! At 90fps it's like 30fps in a normal game, lol

Maybe it is our 60hz monitor i dont know.. in other games 111 fps is more than fine but like you said in mxs 111 is like a 30 fps lol ill buy a 144hzmonitor and we'll see what happen... but the part where i dont unserstand is that my 960 seemed to be better for mxs than my 1060 (( (always had 125 fps with the 960)

It's a known problem that at 111fps it becomes laggy. Our monitors are okay, read this topic (you opened it!)
Lnxa said "Yes thats correct. Normal games you can't feel the difference between 125 and 111 but mxs is fucked."
Anyway i don't actually know what's the problem, but in online my 470 with med/high settings sometimes fps drops to 111-90, and it never happened with my old R9 380 2Gb. idk.

Update: i turned down Model Go detail to 0 (to erase stadium and everything) and now i get a steady 125 fps... its weird cuz its like my GTX 1060 is weaker than my 960 ??

Update again, im fine at geo model detail at 5 (steady 125 fps).. if i move it up to 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 it keep adding statues and i see the fps drops to 100 or 111 instead of 125 .. (on sx madness - las vegas track)

Tanner rogers found the problem !!! threaded optimization had to be turned to OFF in nvidia control panel as well as power mode to Adaptive (dont know which one of these 2 changes solved my problem but its working now !!!!) 125 fps steady yeahhhh !!!!!
