Robots stop on all non-stock tracks

Post by Urt »

Hi all,
Just discovered and bought this game and cannot believe how deep it is. Please excuse my noobness.

I cannot figure out why all the tracks I have downloaded don't have the AI Robot riders working. They don't race really, just stop on track randomly. Are there any easier outdoor tracks that have robots working already besides the stock tracks? I'm interested in outdoor MX tracks.

thanks for your time.

The AI use player lines to complete a lap. Just run clean laps, no crashes and smooth lines, from a few different gates so the AI have something to base the track on and they should start moving. Nothing you need to turn on or do, just run the laps and eventually they will learn.

Older tracks, pre-online would have AI work. My favorite track makers from back then, DJ and Voutare, had fun tracks that the AI was competent on. Springburg was probably the best track created with AI in mind. I'd recommend riding 2-strokes on them as the scale doesn't age well with 450's.

Nice!
Thank you for the answers and tips. I guess I have to keep practicing because there aren't any tracks I can complete a lap on without crashing. HaHA! I'm 3 days in and prob 30 hours of play already and cannot make it around once but I looooove this game. The physics are unreal. Feels so realistic! I want to get better so badly but it is really hard to find any info. I've watched hours of video but I don't ride in real life because I'm too poor to buy a bike. I still cannot understand how you guys control it so well. I'm using an xbox 360 controller FYI.
I'll keep practicing for now. I should change my starting gate each time I suppose....

Thanks again for your time answering my question.
