laggy/jittery when in ruts?

why does my game seem a bit jittery or laggy when hitting ruts or going between the ruts?

Is your fps actually dropping while going through ruts? Type /togglefps in the game chat and it will display your fps in the top left corner. Or are you referring to the 'riding on rocks' feeling you get in some ruts?

just on some outdoor tracks the game starts lagging when I'm in the ruts or between them, and as soon as I get out of them it quits
