game keeps resetting and asking for registration key??

Hello everyone, i am brand new to this game and i purchased it yesterday. I am currently having an issue when I log back into the game it resets my stuff. I have had to re enter my registration key and adjust my sliders every time i log back in. I am hoping there is an easy solution to this problem. Thanks in advance for any info you guys can provide on how to fix the issue.

Do you exit the game by the exit option in the game menu? If not it will reset stuff.
