MX Sim resets??

So, I've had this happen to me 3 times now, where all of my setup, gearing, stability gets completely reset. Pretty much back to day 1. Luckily I have pictures of my setup which is why its not a huge problem, but I'm still curious on why it happens. I have a good PC as well. I5-6500, 16gb DDR4, GTX 1060 6gb. :?: :?: :?: :?:
