LITERALLY SAME I opened sim today and it was at like 70-80fps for 20 man gate, normally its solid 125fps. Ive been scratching my head all night, spent the last 3 hours running benchmarks and hardware scans thinking my pc took a shit but everything is working fine.

- GPU and CPU clocks are boosting when playing sim
- threaded optimization is off
- no viruses
- registry is clean
- temps are normal
- voltages are normal
- reinstalled nvidia drivers
- reset nvidia control panel settings

What gives!?

Someone else had the same problem and it went away when he switched MXS to fullscreen. My guess is Teamspeak has a hidden overlay that's slowing things down.

My MXS is always on fullscreen. Also I havent updated teamspeak in ages. If it helps any; the problem for me doesnt happen instantly. Ill join a server and ill be fine running 125fps and about 10-15 seconds after loading in my fps will drop to 8 and when it goes back up it fluctuates between about 30 and 100. Very skippy and hard to see where im going.

Have you gone back to the previous Geforce driver and tested?

There are some decent recommendations here:
http://www.pcgamer.com/how-to-make-windows-10-faster/

You definitely want to disable non essential startup programs and services.

If it's obviously useless like adware or something I'd disable it. Otherwise, try stopping it and re-test. If doesn't improve it's probably something else so re-enable it and try disabling the next one.

I also have a problem with lag.
In my case, I do not have fps drops but I cant feel the game 100% smooth, even at 125fps there is a shaking sensation.
I have tried everything, remove the v-sync, disable the demo recording, threaded optimization, I have tried everything that has been said in the forum and there is no way to fix it.

CPU: I7 6700
GPU: NVIDIA 1060 6GB

Hope someone can help me.

I've been having the same problem but for a while, well, since Erode came with the newest snapshots, went from 125 to 58-60 FPS. :?
