Help can't resolve address/contacting server

I've been having this issue trying to connect to the emf servers where it says contacting server or can't resolve address on all emf servers. I checked my firewall and that isn't the issue. I have the latest snapshot and I'm at a loss for what to do any help would be much appreciated.

you have to sign up for the race to be able to connect to them, since the race isn't up yet, you won't be able to connect

shit i forgot about euro, scratch that, it's probably because you have too poor of a connection
