Unable to use controller on game

Ive recently downloaded the game and tried to get mods but somewhere in my attempts I screwed something up and can no longer use my controller. Even thought it works on all my other games also still haven't figured out how to properly get mods. Anyone got tips

re-download the game since it sounds like you don't have anything to lose then watch these videos.

From my experiences..... Make sure you have your controller plugged into your PC before you fire the game up. you may experience "your controller not working" if you have sim running before the controller is plugged in.
