Photoshop CC Normal Maps

Hey guys hopefully someone can help me with this. I have the trial version of cc 2017 with the extended days glitch/hack whatever. To my understanding the trial version has everything the full version has. I would really like to make my own normal maps for different parts on bikes but whenever I try to generate a normal map it gives me the "3D mesh presets need to be installed" icon. I've tried youtube, google and no one really has an answer. Any ideas?

I use the xnormal plugin for all of my hand drawn normal and cavity maps
