Model Smooth Shading Instead of Flat (Sign Machine Broke)

Post by Smidly »

I tried making a sign that's like the Glen Helen one but it makes the shading all weird instead of smooth. I made the shading flat in blender but it doesn't change it.

I'd recommend using an edgesplit modifier.

Clicking smooth shading in blender will give an accurate example of how the shading will look in MX Sim. It will always try to smooth it. Like JLV said, you can edge split the model to create hard edges.
