Controller is messing up

Hey. So my Controller works fine in every game I have but this one. I'll play for like 15 secs and then Ill go to down shift or up shift and it will do the opposite. Sometimes all of a sudden my rider will never come out of sitting from in a corner, (no sticky sitdab). Or the best one yet. is Ill land with the brakes on and the game just decides I'm still holding the brake. I don't know what to do. I took a really long break in hopes of it fixing and it hasn't. Can Anyone help me so I don't have to quit my favorite game.
