My right trigger for this game is glitched

I can only set it once and then it always holds the throttle wide open?

also is a Xbox Series X controller, and I also cannot turn left or right

If you aren't running 2021-03-15 snapshot or newer, try the latest snapshot update. Before 2021-03-15 it used DirectInput which doesn't support split axis triggers with the default Xbox controller driver. That could explain the trigger problems.
For the turning make sure your stability setting is under 100. (More specifically, "direct steering" in the advanced settings has to be above 0 but a lower stability setting will take care of that for you.) You can still steer with it at 100 but it won't turn the bars when you're parked.
