Who decided on the term "pounds" for money? Was it because they used to be based of weight? or is that coincedental? I guess I'll google it, but it's interesting, if I had 35lbs of money, I'd be a very happy man

I believe the sterling in "Pound Sterling" is silver. Maybe for a prize in a future contest I'll give away 35 lbs of pennies...
