windows 7 skins and models

Post by gomoto846 »

sorry to waste a thread for this but i just got a new computer and on windows 7, all of my skins come out completely blurry except for when the camera is far away (LOD's?) also my models arent working. btw all my graphics settings are turned up. i think these two things may be happening because nothing is in my "personal folder" because i couldnt find one. so all of my tracks, skins, models, etc are in C:/ Program Files x86/ MX Simulator. that could be why. any advice is welcomed.

thanks guys and again, sorry to be a noob.

C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\MX Simulator

Search there for ur personal folder, u might have to turn "Show Hidden maps" or something like that on

"Model Texture Detail" controls the texture resolution. Set it to 9 or 10.

I didnt want to waste a thread on this so I put in here.

my computer has been lagging on MXS so bad (I installed new drivers as soon as i got the computer) and later I just assumed my computer was not fast enough to run MXS well. but I just checked and from what I understand the processor and graphics card etc should be pretty decent and shouldnt lag as bad as it does. heres the info tell me if i was wrong and what i can do to fix it:

Intel Graphics are absolutely terrible. If you have the cash, and the power supply to handle one, I'd consider buying a graphics card.
