adding different friction/resistance seperate parts of track

Post by MotoRockstar777 »

What i want to do is add a loamy type resistance to part of my track then a sand resistance for the sand section of my track. So i want to know how to add 2 different friction/resistances to 2 different parts of the track.

Here is what i want for the sand
friction 0.4 0
friction 0.5 2.0
friction 1.0 3.0
friction 1.2 10.0
roll_resist 20 50 0
roll_resist 70 100 30

Heres what i want for the loam
friction 0.1 0
friction 0.4 0.3
friction 1.0 1.8
friction 1.15 15
roll_resist 20 50 0

I deleted everthing in my tilemap file so what would i need to type in and do i need to do anything in the editor.

I have looked at these and i still don't really understand how to get it to 2 different parts of the track.

You need to add the "addtile" to the end of each of those, then specify what you want to use for the texture (doesn't really matter since decals will cover it anyway, just so you can distinct them from one another) then in game click tilemap edit on the left and then choose which you want by clicking the square preview.
