Track editor problems for windows 7

first off i know this game isnt ment for windows 7 but i cant get the editor to work i type in the correct address in the target box in properties and it says it is not valid adress
can any one help?

"C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator\mx.exe" --editor i do this i have windows 7. the editor comes up in game but i can not make jumps. i cant draw out the jumps with the grid. i dont know why but it wont let me.

After the '' in the target box, space then type --editor. Then hit tab ingame until the editor shows up.
