delete key isn't working in editor

When i try to delete statues and billboards in the editor with the delete key it won't work. Does anyone know why. Theres nothing wrong with my delete key, I always have to open the file to delete it.

You need to use 'x' instead. If you are making the terrain in editor, be careful pressing backspace, as this will undo your last terrain edit (this cannot be redone)

Alrighty that worked, thanks. Things will be so much easier now. I thought it was the delete key because when i looked at the tracking editing page it said to press delete.
