ATI catalyst settings upgrade making mxs crash

Everytime i bump up the settings in the ati catalyst 3d tab (AA, AF etc) when i run mx simulator and choose my track and click new race it gets past loading track but when it gets to loading bikes the game crashes unexpectedly. How ever if i go back to ATI catalyst and click the defaults checkbox then restart mx simulator it works fine. The card i am using is an ATI HD5770 and i think it is most likely the driver i installed from the disk which could possibly be an old version. Could any of you guys who have knowledge about ATI Drivers be able to tell me which driver version works best for mx simulator? or if it is something else be able to tell me a fix for this error. Im running the 10.12 version for my 5770.

Do you have full settings in the 3d tab?

I run 4x AA on multisampling, and 8x anisotropic.

ok ill try installing that driver and running those settings thanks alot.

Just tried installing the 10.12 driver and the catalyst control centre was completely different and only had screen preferences, and for some reason my card was not showing up in the device manager. So now ive installed the 10.10 driver and used the settings that you said and it does the exact same as what the first driver i had did. Im completely stuck on what to do.

Did you change the Catalyst AI at all? If you change it from Standard it always crashes MXS for me.
