skinning question

im new to skinning and i have a question. i downloaded the template for the crf and im using gimp to skin it. after im done skinning it, how do i get it to show up in game?

where do i name the skin then?

Add it to your desktop and change the name of the file for example. KX250F-Stewart Replica.png

Alright, just right click on it once its on my desktop and click rename? Right? Thats it? I dont have to name those 6 parts or anything? And the template im using is dj's crf250. What should i name that? Crf250-name.png?

Yes, that should be the correct naming for that bike. Ya' know, it won't hurt for you to just go ahead and try naming it without asking first. If it doesn't work, then ask for more advice.

Sorry. once i get back on my computer ill try to rename it that way bcuz i tryed to rename directly from my personal folder bcuz i just "saved as" after i was done.

It still didnt work. Are you sure its not supposed to be 2010crf250? Or would that be for wilsons model?

make sure its saved as png.

older model name: crf250-skinname.png
wilsons 2010: 2010crf250-skinname.png

Alright. I downloaded DJ's crf250 model, is that a secondary skin then? If it i then i think i got it.
