Graphic Cards

Does this game not like the XFX ATI 6800 series cards? My dual Core 2.4 amd with a Nvidia GTS 8800 aplha Dog edition 512mb card ran better then my new pc AMD 6Core T1090 with 16gig ram and the 1gb GDDR5 XFX 6850....lol I am lost I have tried everything.. Thought it was sound so I through my Sound card in nothing "BBC2 sounds great though".. The game will intermintley freeze and make a pop sound in my headset set.. I have also tried diff video drivers?

This also happens to my ATI 5650 graphics card. I think its just ATI to tell you the truth. My old desktop has a nvidia and it runs perfectly.
This might help you though. In your ATI graphics properties, set it to 1/2 performance and 1/2 quality. Just wondering if it may fix the problem

I use an ati card and dont have alot of issues with framerates, just when there's over 10 people online I gotta start lowering graphics, with 15+ I gotta start setting everything to about 60..
It might have something to do with Nvidia and OpenGL *shrug*, also you might have to 'unlock' some of your cpu's cores?
