2 Keys/UID Problem

Hey JLV, or anyone else that would know, I have a problem with my UID. My UID # is 2749, and my brothers is #3293. I originally bought the game first back in March, and he just recently bought the game about 3 weeks ago. I usually play on my iMac, and he usually plays on my Win7 laptop. But once and a while he will load his key onto my iMac's copy of MXsim, and play on his account. No problems whatsoever, up until this...

I just learned to get a server going successfully, and when looking in the terminal while in my server, I noticed that my UID# is actually my brothers UID#? Why is it like this?! Am I all of a sudden not getting counted for my finishes and whatnot?

If you're using his registration key, it will use his UID in game (and count for his stats). You'll have to switch keys every time you want to have the UID show correctly.

It should keep a separate key for each account on the computer. Are you dual booting Windows or using Wine/Crossover?

On an XP system the key will be in "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\MX Simulator\regkey", so assuming you each have your own username on the system the keys shouldn't conflict. Do you have a separate account set up for each user in XP?
