GP of Matterley Basin: MXGP vs MxSim

Post by FnF_greg »

Since the IRL gp is there next weekend i like to ride on them virtual tracks.
Not sure which version i like the most, i guess the MXGP track is a bit more accurate to the real version.
the quad is a million times easyer on sim though

You could make the sim track look like that track with a bit of effort. Damn we need dynamic shadows though

As I said, MXS is capable of looking that good, we just lack the effort to make it look that good.

You should show everyone how it's done and make something magical.

probably would look better if the skybox and dirt weren't grey, looks boring and miserable. muddy creek looked great, it was bright and vibrant, that's what tracks need.

Well, the MXS version was made as a hobbie by two guys (one of them (me) with ZERO knowledge on computers/videogames development/3D modeling.....) The MXGP version was made by a group professionals. Why would you expect the mxs version to be the best? lol

Actually, I had to do the whole track (except for the fences) on my own because Hagg was busy. That's why Matterley is the worst looking track of the season.

Matterley was my favorite mxs GP track, there was a sensible amount of ruts instead of going nuts like the other ones.

yeah i loved the track perfect ruts, jumps etc., only improvements would be aesthetic ( better decals, skybox...)

Just use the link below a few thousand times and all the MXS GP's will look like that in 2015...
