Nice of you to take your time to make this. Want to get around to making one as well but I'll wait until Offseason.
One thing I've noticed is my anti aliasing is never perfect/could be better.

if anyone could help that'd be dope.

I would just run the blur tool set at a low strength, over anything that has bad aliasing.

Atom that's related to the selection settings he talked about in the beginning (refine edge, feather etc). If you want it to be perfect you have to do it the manual way. One thing I don't exactly agree with in this tutorial is the way you faded the blur, in my opinion it doesn't look right when you lower opacity or mask the blurred layer back onto the normal layer. I think it looks better if you first select what needs to be blurred, do that, then use the manual blur tool to fade it. That's just personal preference though. I did both of the above in this video if anyone wants to see, though the cursor doesn't show so sometimes it's hard to tell what I'm doing:

I don't mean to thread jack just trying to help :).

The "interior" speckles are just coincidence, the color of the background is close enough to the color of that area of the rider, I just use the paint brush to paint those on the mask.
