Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Finally got around to doing this with the help of Race reminding me haha.
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Nice of you to take your time to make this. Want to get around to making one as well but I'll wait until Offseason.
One thing I've noticed is my anti aliasing is never perfect/could be better.
if anyone could help that'd be dope.

Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
I would just run the blur tool set at a low strength, over anything that has bad aliasing.
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Ah finally! Thanks mate!
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Atom that's related to the selection settings he talked about in the beginning (refine edge, feather etc). If you want it to be perfect you have to do it the manual way. One thing I don't exactly agree with in this tutorial is the way you faded the blur, in my opinion it doesn't look right when you lower opacity or mask the blurred layer back onto the normal layer. I think it looks better if you first select what needs to be blurred, do that, then use the manual blur tool to fade it. That's just personal preference though. I did both of the above in this video if anyone wants to see, though the cursor doesn't show so sometimes it's hard to tell what I'm doing:
I don't mean to thread jack just trying to help .

Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Preciate it Nate. Looks very time consuming but also looks worth it. I remember Race used to do that feather thing but he said he doesn't remember anymore :/ can prob find a YT video on it tho
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
Here is my old tutorial, funny thing is, I can't even do screenshots like that now, they all turn out garbage hahaAtom6246 wrote:I remember Race used to do that feather thing but he said he doesn't remember anymore :/ can prob find a YT video on it tho
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
lol I forgot that you made a video, thanks fam
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
still thinking something is wrong... I'm using Peter's inspec settings too so I'm lost
Re: Bootlegged screenshot tutorial
The "interior" speckles are just coincidence, the color of the background is close enough to the color of that area of the rider, I just use the paint brush to paint those on the mask.
