cant film?? need help?

i see all these vids of mx simulator and i am wondering, how to film riding?
can someone please help me with this because i really want to make a edit !

Sorry for lack of responses.

In new race menu make sure record demo is set to yes.

Go ride and once you are done riding, go to playback race, I'm on my blackberry but I think it has to say playback only, I think.

Get fraps to record the actual desired footage.

Also important if you are wanting to make a video of different demos ( races ) make sure immediately after the race, you go to your personal folder and copy paste it to desktop rename it. Then drop it back into your demo folder.

If you have any more question plz ask, I or someone else will help you out....

EDIT*** copy the default demo out of your demo folder , which is located in your personal folder. Then paste it onto desktop/ rename / drop it back in demo folder....

Why would you copy paste to desktop.. only to rename and put it back? you can just rename it in the demo folder..

I was always told to do so, plus for me yes it does take like a second longer, but I can organize them before I put it back in, I am a neat freak so I only put the demos in that I want in. So

Yes mx you can just rename it in demo folder, I was just stating that to start with . Is that better servatis??? Lol

or just before you exit the race you type /Namedemo then the name, or /demoname, cant remember.

there is also a good video capture program written by jlv to capture video in MXS. Clicky click

Bwwwahaha dude chill, the point here is to help this guy, get on his feet to making good videos.

Fraps is the best IMO in video capturing ( video game ). It has great quality but be prepared to have huge file sizes. Jlv has a good screen recorder as well. But it is locked at 30 fps, if u have a lower end comp that is the way to go. With fraps I can get 60+ fps while recording, but the slow month sucks while recording at 60 or higher with fraps and this game, it tends to skip badly...

I would use jlv's software but can't seem to get it to work, so I just go with what works for me... Good luck mx with ur videos can't wait to see what ya go..

Actually you u can record at 60fps in jlvs recorder and in 720p i just wish it would do 1080p.

Removing / editing the highlighted part from this line in the mxavi.bat will fix the frame rate cap (depending on your computer).

You have to change the part where it says 30:1 too. Like 60:1 for 60fps.
