But yeah thats pretty much how you have to make passes in sx.
Take the line and the other one has to let up instead of trying to fit in the same line

Chris, the first gif you posted was your fualt. Valtteri had the pass on you and the line, and you just kept on the gas straight into him haha... Learn how to check up in a corner if you hear someone on your inside, and if you ride 3rd... idk what to say haha you didn't give Valterri any room and fucked him over imo. Not gonna comment on the other gif's but yea, If you wanted to rough someone up it should have been Hunter, not Valterri as he was 8 points down in the championship.. That was a cake walk for Root

Yeah I'll eat my words I agree it wasn't completely your fault but I would have made the same pass attempt as Valtteri right there, it wasn't a dumb move by him. Both of you guys didn't want to back off and it ended bad but like I said before, you should be aware and listen for a guy coming up the inside. You were side by side coming into the corner and he had the inside so if I were you, I would have surrendered like you did in the 2nd gif. Not call him dumb because you couldn't hear him going for a legit pass. You're not an elite rider tho so I get it, still learning and no one is a perfect racer. I'd say just practice listening for guys when the get beside you, especially in a whoop section. It's not hard to hear a rider pull up next to you in the whoops.

There is couple examples in hunters videos where hunter is doing same kinda move on me but i use my ears and check up so we both dont go down. You can hear it if someone is next to you.

IRL (correct me if i'm wrong..) it should be the guy with the most bigger amount of main event won so in our case Tysen
the other system would be to take the one who finished behind in the last race so it's again Tysen
