1st POST UP TO DATE WITH RD1 protests

ↂ Round 1 recap

CLASS: SX1 Pro ; MOTO: Main event ; TIME: 21mn28
PLAINTIFF: Dennis Fjeldberg
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: Dennis jumped the big quad on the first rythm section, he landed on a lapper, ran 3meters and got a game's crash.
Image
VERDICT: We got the confirmation it's a bug of the game from jlv.
jlv wrote:It's a bug in the game I've never been able to fix. Not sure what the exact cause is. Something to do with extra deep collisions.
BUT we still decided to give his position back to Dennis before his game's crash (9th=>6th).

CLASS: SX1 Pro ; MOTO: Main event ; TIME: 9mn10
PLAINTIFF: Jason Sole - #49 - 19533
DEFENDANT: Kellen Brauer - #94 - 4928
PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION: I report Kellen for the move around 9 minutes 10 second. I don't understand the interest of this move while we have fallen already 2 times before it.
He came wide open and cut me while we were 6th and 7th. I lost 9 positions with this.
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: Well there are 3 actions actually on this protest.
1st action (8mn49) : race incident, Kellen is hitting the rear wheel of Marrot, he crashed and Jason can't avoid him so he crashed also.
Image
2nd action (9mn) : both riders came up from the 1st crash, we can clearly see Jason going on Kellen in the whoops section while Kellen is straight.
Image
3rd action - the (9mn10) : Kellen is raging at Jason cause he made him fall again in the whoops section, he just go wide open on Jason to punt him.
Image
VERDICT: Kellen made a mood's move. He already lost time with his first crash with Marrot. This second crash due to Jason not going straight in the whoops section made Kellen become mad...
PENALTY: Warning "aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

CLASS: SX1 Pro ; MOTO: Main event ; TIME: 4mn15
PLAINTIFF: EMF Crew
DEFENDANT: Maxime Tison - #51 - 4820
MAXIME's DESCRIPTION : This line 3-3-1 was maybe not the best i could use just behind an other rider, you were lagging a bit in the starting line before, and you had a little "roll back" lag when i hitted the single after the rythm.
I hitted you on air, it was not really you but your lag so i crashed before landing on you (your real "you" not your lag this time)
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: Maxime is hitting the big line (3-3-1) in the 1st rythm section and made fall Logan Leitzel in the next corner. He can't brake
Image
VERDICT: Hit the big line and make others crash.
PENALTY: Warning "unsafe/aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

CLASS: SX1 Pro ; MOTO: Main event ; TIME: 20mn40
PLAINTIFF: Hunter Root - #1 - 8752
DEFENDANT: Alexis Leclair - #43 - 6454
PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION:
Image
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: Alexis is hitting a big line (never seen before!) just behind Hunter. He tryed to pass him on the inside but cutted a bit the bales and made him fall by at the landing.
Image
Image
Image
VERDICT: Hit the big line and make others crash + cut the track
PENALTY: Warning "unsafe/aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9] + docked one position for "cutting the track while passing someone" [Rulebook - section 2.1]

CLASS: SX2 Pro ; MOTO: LCQ ; TIME: 2mn34 / 2mn43
PLAINTIFF: Gaetan Pich - #117 - 17009
DEFENDANT: Stephane Guido - #15 - 18324
PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION: Unsafe riding in a race (2mn34), he made crash others on purpose (2mn43)
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: 1st action he's doing a backflip on the wall. He didn't hit anyone but he was really not safe to do it while Gaetan was passing him.
Image
On the 2nd action, Stephane is hitting the big line on the inside of Gaetan and go for a block pass in the next corner. He hit Gaetan's front wheel and make him crash.
Image
VERDICT: Stephane is doing stupid move (backflip) + Block pass on purpose.
PENALTY: Warning "unsafe/aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

CLASS: SX2 Pro ; MOTO: LCQ ; TIME: Last corner
PLAINTIFF: Jarne Robyn - #728 - 5144
DEFENDANT: Alex Carlo - #69 - 3950
PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION: I was in 4th place the last corner and Alex Carlo crashes into me to get the final transfer spot. But we both crash and I still get 4th.
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: For this action, we have to keep in mind it's the last lap of the LCQ. We can see Alexis Vanbrabant crashing for 4th position, so Jarne is 3rd after that, Alex is 4th.
We can see Alex cutting the last end of the whoops section to go for the block pass on Jarne.
Image
VERDICT: T-bone on purpose.
PENALTY: Warning "aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

CLASS: SX2 Pro ; MOTO: Heat1 ; TIME: 1mn15
PLAINTIFF: Corentin Delaruelle - #535 - 1242
DEFENDANT: Alex Carlo - #69 - 3950
PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION: Alex just didn't brake and took me out.
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: We can see Corentin is opening the inside line really hard, Alex is going to pass him and decided to not break when he understood he was late to make the pass.
Image
VERDICT: T-bone on purpose.
PENALTY: Warning "aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

CLASS: SX1 Amat ; MOTO: Main event ; TIME: 15mn
PLAINTIFF: Maxime Bourut - #212 - 9248
DEFENDANT: Antoni Castellano - #155 - 9361
PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION: Not first time castellano blockpass like a noob.
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: Maxime is jumping 2-1 on the big triple while Antoni is jumping it. Antoni first hitted the break in the landing and then went on the inside to still make the pass.
Image
VERDICT: Dirty block pass on purpose.
PENALTY: Warning "aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

CLASS: SX1 Amat ; MOTO: Main event ; TIME: 1mn30
PLAINTIFF: Thomas Jaz - #141 - 8626

PLAINTIFF's DESCRIPTION: Hello, I wanted to protest against Andrea di pietro in relation to his block pass against me at the beginning of the 2nd turn.
EMF Crew's DESCRIPTION: Andrea go for the block pass instead of taking the inside line. He could take the inside, still make the pass but without making crash Thomas.
Image
VERDICT: Dirty block pass on purpose.
PENALTY: Warning "aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]

Why should be "blockpass on purpose" cause a warning or even ban? This is part of racing imo...

This. When you blockpass someone succesfully that's just racing. When you both go down it usually means it was too agressive, in this case you can give warnings or penalties. Imagine real life ama SX with emf rules, everyone would be banned by round 3

These protests are getting a little pathetic now, none of these 3 even deserved a protest nevermind a warning, we cant even go near someone now without having to worry about being banned?

1st incident, completely Dennis' fault for trying to quad right behind a lapper, does not deserve a position back.

2nd incident, clean pass just got unlucky with the games collisions and went down

3rd incident, also a good pass

Both the 2nd and 3rd have time to check up and let the other through.

Grow some balls ffs.

I have to agree that it's weird that people get warned / banned for block passing now. But I've nothing to say because I'm not in the EMF protest crew.

Luckly I am not in that crew though, some guys don't like my logic!

2013 MxSCentral outdoors 2nd place overall

Well some guys will agree, some won't anyway it's still hard to judge if a block pass is legit or not.

For me, if you block the other rider line , and the guy have "time" to brake, its of course legit. But if you put your rear whell on his front, most of the time he got no chance to avoid a crash; it's a barcia/hansen shit. Even thought it's looks legit in real life, you can't really allow it in this game, or some will abuse it. In real life you don't go down 10 times per race. And doing such a blockpass could cause you to go down and finish in the back of the pack.

i see people raging because some can't jump straight, because some make mistakes, or some are too slow or too bad.
What would they say if they got taken down every corner.

You have to remember it's a Game, and a Game is made to have fun.

Watch the yesterday heat with tomac and andersson to see what is nice and legit !
Then watch the heat with Hanssen the idiotic noob who stay 15 years on 250 and still can't ride clean.

If you read the protest carefully, we give Dennis position back because it was last lap, and his game crashed completely, not just his bike.

2nd incident is not clean, theres no way the other guy could avoid collision.

3rd pretty same , if he could avoid it, i guess he would have. do you really think he said : "ho someone will cut my line i will still try to pass, pray and gaz !"

I dont think so. but maybe u could teach us with your big experience uid 17k . :)

All of the penalties seem fair with the passes/actions that were made. I agree block passes are part of racing, but almost every example provided above is a dirty punt/takeout.

I'll take the "warning" but I'll tell you guys this: If you are out there and cross-jumping all over the place after having FIVE DAYS to learn the track, then I have no problem with putting you on the ground to move you out of my way. Jason was so hell bent on keeping me behind him that he turned left in the whoops. Seriously EMF goof-balls, learn how to race in this game instead of riding like Vince Friese into every turn. I have already let Jason know I'm not going to race him like others now.

VERDICT: Block pass on purpose.
PENALTY: Warning "aggressive riding" [Rulebook - section 2.9]
I don't see how this is even worthy of a protest. I took him out for the last transfer on the last corner of the last lap. Plus its not like he still didn't get the transfer spot.
