MXSEMF vs 2018 [Informations]

INFORMATIONS
The 2018 season is coming shortly and we have been quiet long enough about it!
With the recent post from rF gaming + the new things we planned to make for 2018, the past weeks were quite busy for us.
This year's racing has been awesome. We saw the introduction of the new system to race the official events. Despite some unwillingness from the community at the beginning of the year, it was a success.
We also completed the GP series, which included 19 tracks! Plus 17 rounds of Supercross made by the awesome rF crew.
We ended the season by working with a part of the rF trackmaking crew for some off-season events, like the MXsim Cup race in October and the Supercross de Paris in November.
Our main goal at EMF over these past 5 years has been to provide professionalism and structure to the official European MXS racing scene, as our colleagues at rF have done in America.
Our plans, before rF announced the ending of their supercross and motocross series, were to propose a better experience for our actual members and, in a close future, to extend our influence to others videos games.
With that being planned, we started to work on a new version of the website, new logo and finally a brand new identity.
In the very last weeks/days, we found out that rF will not continue for 2018. So, after some discussion with rF, we decided to take the reins and host the US Supercross and Motocross series for 2018.

1. New website, new identity, ESports Madness Federation is born

As some of you might know, the owner of MXSEMF.com (Yohann Mayer) is no longer active as a player on this game for many years, but he's still involved in many others games.
It motivated our decision to extend our offer to other games in the close future.
The website itself was made in 2012/2013. So, this was the best time for us to update it and start our new projects with a fresh website template that can be used for others games to.
The recent announcement from rF gaming gave us the opportunity to extend our influence to the world for MXSimulator.
It is clearly the end of an era, but we really think that having just one website who's hosting every major event for this game is the best way to promote it.
It is way easier for newcomers but also for actual players. Before, there were clearly 2 sides in the mxs community; one side for north-America's region and the other for Europe.
The goal here, is to bring together all MXS players on the same platform.
Let them compare their stats for each region, create international teams or just give them the opportunity to race a single event race without paying for the entire series.
The new website has been made to increase greatly the user experience and offer you more possibilies.

2. Official events now divided in 2 regions

The race center will be the hotspot of the whole website. You'll be able to check for every series hosted on MXSEMF, "Official" or "Trusted hosters" series.
The Official series will be divided in 2 regions, North America and Europe.
North America region will host the old racefactorygaming series. Europe region will host the old European MxSim Federation series.
Each region will have their own list of numbers.

3. New licensing system

With the arrival of the whole US community, we have to extend our licence offers like rF did in the past.
We'll introduce a new "B" licence and change the "Amat" licence to "C".
For the newcomers on our website, we are sharing databases with rF so the licence you had on their website will be the licence you'll have on our new website.
If you already created your account and you don't have the right licence, feel free to contact us.

4. Changes for SX

Next year will see the introduction of multiple new rules and format changes in the real life series.
Here's a list of the new things we'll introduce in our SX series:
- East coast & West coast for lites classes.
- New scoring system (26, 23, 21 ...)
- "Triple crown" special format for 3 rounds of the series.
- Lites classes shootout.
**More information will come with in new threads of the series.

5. Additional changes

We'll also add some new features such as an olympic scoring system, events including 3 motos, more qualifying servers, etc.

6. Erode

We saw a major update on this game at the end of the season. Erode online is now available and after some snapshots to improve it, works pretty well!
We'll start to use it for our official events in 2018.

We want to thank each and every player who has supported us. We also want to thank all the trackmakers, 3d makers, and designers for the huge amount of work they put in to make our replica series possible.
Last but certainly not least, we need to thank the man without whom none of this would be possible: JLV.

Are you guys gonna be using the same qualifying format as Rf did in 2017 SX?

From what I believe it is still the same qualifying as last year rF SX, so Winter Indoor Style Qualifying.

Protest I believe Peter will still be handling, but I could be wrong.

Numbers will be split obviously by region? So people racing NA will be running their 2018 rF numbers and get to keep their career numbers?

Yes numbers are split between NA, and EU. So numbers that were given out from the Official Post by Peter, and what you told Peter you wanted is what you will run for the NA Series. IF you have an earned a Number for the EU Series you will run that in the EU Series.

To find out what number you are on either NA or EU go to this link: http://forum.mxsimulator.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=47703
