Honestly don't know how i finished where i did tonight. I woulda been pumped to just make the night show. Thought it was a solid event tonight, thanks to the whole emf crew for running the race tonight and for the track makers for making it happen. My opinion best A1 track so far. I personally was a fan of the erode. Didn't know exactly what to expect coming in with the erode but the track for the main i thought was solid.

Here you can see the difference.

Erode 1.5 was perfect for that 450 main. That was the most fun i've ever had in a race ever.

I vote that we stick with erode 1.5 for ALL races (heats, lcqs, mains) and let the longer races just get gnarlier later in the race.

I don't know... maybe a little less than 1.5 in my opinion. The only time a race gets that rough is if there's a monsoon the day before and the stadium gets swamped.

You're high, The 250 main erode was perfect.

This is after the 450 main, for anyone that's wonder what the track looked like. I think if people could see the ruts better earlier on, they'd form better. But I really don't know. I have some other idea's to try out yet too. I want to test lowering the depth value (not allowing it to get as deep) and then raising the erode value, in hopes of more lines forming quicker, but not getting stupid rough later.

Granted I didn't race it, but the thing I liked A LOT more about the 450 Main than the 250 Main was you guys actually had to start changing lines. The 250 Main, all of the ruts stayed prime and made it really one lined. The 450 Main caused a shift in how the track needed to be raced about halfway through. That's how it should work for erode. It shouldn't be "let's make one perfect line and try to hit it every lap." It should be "oh wait, I'll be able to do the section better if I try doing it this way instead."

Maybe there should be some sort of penalty for people who either rq the main or just don't bother racing, i'm sure there was a lot of other people willing to race considering they paid money to do so.. :(

There is 100% room for improvement regarding erode, but ill still take what we have now over no erode any day. I think it adds something to racing that just makes it so much more enjoyable. Instead of going mach 10 everywhere I found myself actually focusing on line choice and trying to be creative when it came to navigating the track, which for me made it really fun. It also slows the pace down a lot, which makes for better battles imo.

The lag is still something that really bugs me, but that's just because my PC can't quite handle erode.

Side note - FUCK front end lock.

Very lucky I was even able to race tonight. I got home from work about 10 min before qualifying closed, totally expecting to just watch the race and then I hear qualifying was extended! Thanks for the server mess up guys! Saved my ass lol

Congrats to winners Rush and Jeremi!
