Hard to tell by that photo but it looks ramped vs a regular curved bowl corner, I agree that shape is terrible if you don't want to wash out in mxs...

I thought they were using nets (credit to Pulp...) so there could be good racing/berms again? Currently that corner is going to suck for racing (follow the leader).

i listen to pulp all the time... but what are the point of nets?? i never understood that...

Catch a bike that might go into the stands. In theory they can build the berms up and encourage people to carry speed

I hope you guys fix your whoops for the rest of the series, The last whoop shouldn't be the tallest and have the biggest gap between it and the one before it.

Those are not whoops in your picture. And no where is the last whoop taller than the rest.

My point still stands, The whoops are built like shit.

An actual picture of the gradient. If you could stay on top of the last ones it was perfect, I think it was too steep it kicked you foward if you got in between it.

The last whoop is 100% built taller in both sections. It’s a bitch to hit cuz I always end up nose manualing into the corner/over the berm.

Any news on this? Did you guys take a decision? Being a veteran in 250 ams i can guarentee that getting rid of east and west would be ALOT better... otherwise you will see empty gates = sux! Just my 0.02

Checkers’ idea was really good: you should get rid of west and east for 250 ams since there were not alot of riders last year...

I don't agree. It's going to be the same amount of riders no matter what, but some of us can only make a certain amount of the races. I like split coasts for am's, I'm sure many others will too.

I'm not sure where Chex got the whole "less than 3 riders at some events" because the only event with less than 3 was a rerun of west round 4 in an off week with Dakota basically having the championship wrapped up... West did have a rounds 15 and 16 with 5 and 6 riders, but East had 11 or more for every round, to my knowledge.

"11 or more" isn't really a true SX experience considering there is no need for heats. If you run heats then there is literally races with 5 guys on the track for no reason.

If there are 11 riders for east and 5 and 6 from west, at least you have close to a full main event.
