I feel like he could have stayed lower on the turn though. He's a elite caliber rider. I knows how to stop in time. It's a 90 corner, he could have done something similar to this.

I don't think either deserved a penalty, but if you make the argument "he could expect someone at his inside." for Atom why couldn't the same be made for Hunter? I can't see why you'd base the verdict off of a hypothetical, because there's no guarantee he would actually crash irl.

I didn't know hitting your foot on a bale irl while going 5 mph causes you to crash lol, Hunter made the same pass on me later in the race and there was no contact because I actually have a brain and knew there was someone on my inside.
