Because in real life when a tire rides through dirt it moves. I think. cant be sure I don't have a dirt bike.

There's an obvious problem with erode, and I would argue in it's current state it's not been much better than what we received from pre-built tracks, and that is purely from a 250 perspective. This isn't blame directed at the track crew either as their effort has been there, the results just haven't really progressed in the motos.
