You ran over a hay bale. What did you expect to happen?

Also noteworthy, the hay bales this year have a softer collision than previous years.

DP, you even clipped through the first haybale. But I'll see what the other guys say about it and go from there. They hay bales outdoors have always been solid, this year we even put the SX collision numbers on them to make them more forgiving.

Obvi I deserved a penalty but to flip over the bars for a minor mistake? Needs to be more forgiving. That could have made the stream way more interesting but instead I die and stream gets boring.

I'd love to see you ride into a haybale at speed while stting down IRL.

Regardless, the people have spoken and you'll be able to ride through them in future rounds. Rejoice!

Please take all objects off the track. You are making my transfer compilation videos less exciting for everyone.

If it was up to me, the banners would have collisions too.

Oh well.

But IRL you can brace for impact. Pull in the clutch, slam on the brakes, put your feet down, etc. In sim you can only hope for the best.

Thank you for listening, it is much appreciated. I'm positive it will bring better racing.

In concept it is fine, but in practice I don't personally like it. You can ride through a real banner and actually get away with it, but adding any resistance to make it a little sketchy is gonna pull the rider off the bike. I think having lots of bales which are fairly easily avoidable is a good tradeoff.

In the early days before the rider would fall off, it was pretty fun to go super fast toward the banners with collisions and see how much speed you could retain. Almost like playing red rover.
