Haggqvist that led me to a new thought.

Final goal: Have all statues, billboards, and flaggers in a PSD file for easy re-arranging and editing. Program will clear previous and re-write all the lines at once to their separate file. It'd be nice to have it handle editing of all the track files down the road, but these are the big ones I plan on for now.

oh god, flaggers would be amazing. Although, you will still need to manually input the gates they controlm which is probably the most effort

That sounds like a good plan.
On a side note; would it be possible to compile it to run under linux? It's not a big deal but it would be nice not having to run the win vm just for this. It messes with my fps. :)

That wouldn't be much of a problem with both mxsim and the app running at the same time. Just the thought of not having to use the laptop simultaneously for the flagger coordinates makes me all warm and fuzzy.

I was thinking about writing something similar to this only for decals. The general idea would be to take a terrain photo and then try to automatically fit decals to reproduce the terrain.

Well... Since you're hard at work on 450's i could do the same general thing with this. :D My end goal is to make it easy to work with all the track files.

Actually right now I'm just trying to get my Blender export script updated to the 2.5 API. Kind of hard to find good documentation for the new UI registration stuff. I'm trying to muddle through by copying the existing export scripts.

I'm not much of a track creator. but it's always good to see more helpful programs for the MXS community.

Looks good, and easy to use. keep it up.

btw. remember that VB.NET is for little girls and C# is for real men. :P

I've went through so many new changes in the last week that I'm not sure if it's a bug or user error. I should have a new version ready to try in a few days that will do 8 colors, billboards statues and decals. Eventually it will do custom colors (unlimited) and include flaggers and skybox editing.
