2010 Outdoor Track Competition
Re: 2010 Outdoor Track Competition
Same works for trees too if you wanted to do it that way.

Do the billboards work or do you have to delete those lines too?

What do you mean?yzmxer608 wrote:Do the billboards work or do you have to delete those lines too?
The shadows are in the decal file, it shouldn't have anything to do with the billboards.

Re: 2010 Outdoor Track Competition
It kept erroring when it got to the billboards, I took them out, I'll try the decal thing with those too.

Re: 2010 Outdoor Track Competition
There's a Y axis on billboards, I believe. It's [0 0 0] and the decals is just [0 0].
You might need to go through and delete all the middle zero's. I use 3d trees, so that isn't a problem for me.

Yep doing that now.... all 300 something lines. Pretty crazy how your eyes react staring at white numbers on black background for a while.

Re: 2010 Outdoor Track Competition
Pft. Cant believe you are doing it by hand. Import the file into excel just like I explained in that decal scaling tutorial
Re: 2010 Outdoor Track Competition
Ha, you think 300 is a lot.
That's funny.
That's funny.

Re: 2010 Outdoor Track Competition
You do realize that it wasn't just 300 Spartans right?
They had actually got support from a few thousand Arcadians, as well as a ton of other city states sending >1000 men. The only reason the Spartans got the recognition they did, is because they stayed there until the end. And that really doesn't matter anyway, because if it wasn't for Athens f'ing up the Persian navy off shore, all of Greece would have been screwed.
