I ended up completely redoing the Yamaha Test Track, i played around withe the opacity and stuff and it came out great, IMO. there are many more lines and choices to take. They come out pretty equal. Any experienced track that would want to help me on the shadows of objects. PM me on here or contact me on skype @ paulr093

Fix the berms. I hate it when a track has those goony ass berms that go half way into the track and are have no slope to the apex.

Hey paul, I am already in the working of the factory test tracks too. Maybe we could merge our tracks to make them 10 times better? (not saying anyone's test tracks suck)

I agree, give the berms more transition from trackside and from the sides (can be done using less focus) and make the grass and dirt texture blend a little better. A good way to do that is to have a lighter dirt color on offtrack and the rutted/darker dirt for race path. I don't mean race line I mean the whole width of the track. Layout looks decent enough but as far as layout goes I'd just try to get more of a smooth angle on things to help it look natural.

What's the method that you use for track making in Earth Sculptor (I think that's what it's called)? I assume that you create your track, get a height map, import it into the game, get a good terrain.hf setting made and smooth it out a bit. It seems pretty interesting. I know a few guys used to make tracks in 3DS Max a long time ago.

Ya Earth Sculptor is basically was the track is going to look like in game, it allows you to smooth things out as well and export a new height map. You can also create jumps but that takes a lot of precise editing. It is a nifty little tool.

This is it! Honestly guys if you dont think has many lines you are wrong, this track was pretty well thought out and altered just a tad to give it more choice on your lines. I think you will like this guys!

looks not bad but that bottom left berm doesn't really line up with the bottom section.
