Base terrains for all AMA nationals

Post by haggqvist »

I've had these laying around for a while now and thought they might be useful if anyone would like to make 2011 versions of the AMA Nationals...
Some of the tracks have a working trackfolder but most are just a basic terrain with an aligned orthophoto and a terrain.hf file.

Budds Creek [made from a 1/9 arcsecond DEM with a working trackfolder]
Freestone [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
Hangtown [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
High Point [made from a 1/9 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
Millville [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
Pala [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
Red Bud [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM with a working trackfolder]
Southwick [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
Steel City [made from a 1/9 arcsecond DEM with a working trackfolder]
Thunder Valley [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]
Unadilla [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM with a working trackfolder]
Washougal [made from a 1/3 arcsecond DEM, no trackfolder]

Sweet, the mxon track layout was wayyy better than the national this year. Im still learning editing, so im just practicing replicating since Im very familiar with the track. (i live down the street) I definitly could not build a replica like the veteran track creators...

But Thanks for letting me know.

Nice work! Looks like you have a good system down. Do you use the script for the saf creator or wakes program? Just wondering because of the sub folders you have, I've never been able to have them and have the saf work correctly.

Cheers!
I'm using jlv's script to saf my tracks and haven't had any problems at all with using sub-folders. I still haven't got a clue why that is though...

I just checked and you're correct, the reference orthophoto for Red Bud seems to have mysteriously disappeared from the track folder and been replaced by some backwater track from MD...
Everything else seems to be ok though. I haven't got a clue what happened and I can't find it on my box either so if anyone wants it they'll have to make a new one.

Just compared your generated terrain of Unadilla to my hand made terrain and its pretty much the exact same except your scale is smaller...Wish someone would have figured this out sooner ,Obviously it would of saved me and others countless hours of work ha-ha...
Also relieved that I don’t have that much work to do for an updated version... :)
