Make sure you're using the right mx.exe. The one from the demo has the editor, but it can't load custom tracks (they will come out flat).

Does it say 'Saved!' and not update the files on disk, or does it just do nothing as if you hadn't even pressed 's'?

For some reason the keystroke isn't being translated correctly then. Is it possible that you had CapsLock on?

I was doing a little editing on my High Point track today, and when I went to go edit a jump, I pressed 'f' for flatten gradient, and nothing happened. It kept doing that until I restarted, and once I opened it up again it worked fine. I guess that's along the same lines as what rewrew is having.

Yeah, when I found out and I was so happy. I hated always getting rid of everything and lining them up flat. :D

It definitely sounds like something is going wrong with the key translation. As a workaround I'll put in a save button so you can at least save when it happens. Did zooming with '-' and '=' stop working too?

i never use the keyboard controlls other then to save, but for future versions would it be a large task to vary the size of the "brush" with out zooming? Maybe even different shapes (square and circle would be fine for me).

Reason being its hard to make the layout while zoomed in and i cant get get the .raw converted back to .file for the game to read it.

Thanks

Oh yeah. I agree with rewrew there, it's a pain to get scale correct when you have to zoom in. When working on my highpoint, I constantly needed to zoom in, draw, zoom out, erase, zoom in, draw, zoom out, erase some more, until I got it right. It's still not perfect too. A brush size independant from zoom would be great, and I will give you a dollar to do so. :D

I've put in adjustable brush radius and a save button. This is pretty much untested so back up your original before you overwrite it.
