Is there anyway i can import a sandbox terrain map made in sketchup? so that i dont have to remodel all the hills and such...

There's a tutorial about it in the tutorial section, in the topic where you need 3ds max is a link to a tutorial only for sketchup.

I'm guessing a sandbox terrain is just a terrain that you've modelled yourself? Anyway, I use sketchup all the time to get base terrains for replica tracks. I do it using a plugin that allows you to "model to heightmap". You might be able to use the same method to get the terrain into the game.
