Some handy scripts

I just added new feature to demosplice to extract a specific time range from a demo.

Here's an example:

demosplice.py --cut 2:00.5-2:10.0 full.mxdemo part.mxdemo

That would take the time range from 2:00.5 to 2:10.0 from full.mxdemo and save it in part.mxdemo.

wow, that´s prety kewl, can u add a chronometer in game to know what time is in the demo please?

Idk if this is the problem but maby its cuz you got your stuff in :C instead of a separate folder

in python25 create a folder called scripts and put all the stuff there, then type in cmd
cd C:\Python25\scripts

then try to splice

ok so im trying to .saf a crf 250 skin and i followed all the steps in the vid and what dj wrote and i still dont quite get how to do it
here is the location of my bike C:\Users\kyle\Desktop\bike
so what do i do from here?

Kawasakis:
You don't run the script from the python prompt (>>>). You run it from the command prompt (C:\Documents and Settings\Arme>).

Including the prompt, it should look this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Arme>python C:\Python25\scripts\demosplice.py --sync demo1.mxdemo demo2.mxdemo exporteddemo.mxdemo

You don't want the >>> prompt. If the prompt looks like that hit ctrl-d to exit python and return to the command prompt.

Edit this file in Notepad++. Change the directory, and the demo names provided. Save it. Run it
