blender export error
blender export error
Hi i have been trying to create some objects (houses etc) for some custom tracks
In blender, i'm new to this program and havent been able to export my objects so far.
This error pops up everytime i try to export it. whatever the object is :
I have the newest version of blender, and the script jm_export_263.py
i have also tried a older version of blender (2.60?). and the same error occured
Does anyone know what could cause this error?

Re: blender export error
Do you have the objects selected when you're trying to export them?

Re: blender export error
Can you post the statue line you have for it? It also depends on where the object center is, if it's way off the object might be below the terrain or something like that.

[1350.000000 20.000000 50.000000] 0.000000 @track/mod/object.jm @track/mod/texture.png null
It shows up in mid air very small, and if i apply scale/location or increase scale in blender its gone :/

Re: blender export error
i must also add, every object i export turns out to be exactly 4 kb of size, no matter how big or complex. strange?
Re: blender export error
tried reinstalling a previous version of blender. but it still only export an empty file ( everytime exactly 4096 kb)
this is driving me nuts

Re: blender export error
If you upload the model somewhere I would be glad to check it out, unfortunately its hard to tell you what is wrong when we can't look at it.
Re: blender export error
Cheers!
This is the .blend

it turns out as a empty file (4kb) when i export it. everything i do in blender does

Re: blender export error
Simply: i cant apply scale or rotation or the file will end up empty
Re: blender export error
Works fine for me, try going to object mode before exporting...You were in edit mode. Model still needs lots of work but exporting isn't a problem.
Re: blender export error
tried exporting in object mode aswell, no difference, file wont work if i apply scale or location/rotation
do i have the wrong script or something?
currently running on blender 2.63

Re: blender export error
Are you actually applying the scale/rotation (ctrl+A select scale and rotation)? Do you have a screenshot of what you get in game?
Re: blender export error
yes i am i wont get anything but the icon in game if i apply scale rotation, only if i dont. and then the object is screwed up
for example the house uploaded, i export it before applying the stuff. = 16kb and shows up in game but broken
then apply scale & rot = only icon in game and filesize shrunk to 4kb

Re: blender export error
That is so strange. Maybe record you doing it once so I can see what you are doing?
