I've been watching last years High point/Mt. Morris track, on stage6, and after finding a pretty good map of it, I figured i'd try it out myself.

After 2 hours of tweaking all the heights, and getting the track to porportion (It's nowhere near perfect dealing with angles, etc. though), I think it's pretty close to the real thing. Thoughts?

To make the AI work, you have to put in a lot of clean laps first. Ideally, you would start from every single gate and then run two clean laps + 2 corners. After that you want to run mx.exe like this:

Code: Select all

mx --rotate-lineup 1 --warp --practice --nosound
Then start a race with just one robot rider (no humans) and let it run for a few hours.

I just did some more editing on my track, and I just ran a race with arcade physics on (I suck at regular), and I ran a 2:06.

The fastest time last year was a 1:58.718, by Carmichael. a 2:06 would have put me in 7th position if I were to have raced that time last year. I'd say it's pretty accurate.
