Millville almost done!

Post by ddmx »

This track is a conversion from the mva version some of you might know about. It is very accurate and fun to ride. The only thing for now that I can't figure out is how to move the dang starting gates! I put .txt after the file and opened it in wordpad. But I can't get it back to just a regular file file. Can anyone lend me some assistance?

you need to uncheck the "hide extensions for known file types" option in folder options. You didnt need to rename the file anyway. All you need to do is pick "open with..." then choose the program you want to open it with.

Eh.

I've tried, but it's not working. Really, a replica for MvA is everything but a replica for this game. It's just completely different. :/

I might give it another shot, but most likely not.

the starting gates?
get the coordinates of the place that the gate should be, as an example, if the coordinates are 473.16/1048.21
open the timing_gates archive, the one in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\MX Simulator\xxxxxx, then you will see:

startinggate:
[numbers] 0

you put this:
startinggate:
[473.16 0 1048.21] 0

the last 0 its the orientation
then gou get the coordinates for the second gate and do the same:

startinggate:
[473.16 0 1048.21] 0
[470.16 0 1048.21] 0
[467.16 0 1048.21] 0

there u go, place all the gates that u want.
