hey MX simulator community,
i was just building a custom track and then my game crashed saying "ERROR: out of virtual memory". now, after some digging, i have the track files from the appdata folder on my computer. what files do have to remove from the track to stop the error from occuring??
PS: i know that the virtual memory error is because the track is using more memory than my computer has, so please dont tell me that. i just want to know which of the files i should remove to try and save my track from dying!!
PPS: i have tried removing the statues file but i have had no luck...
Please HELP ME!!!!!
cheers,
MasterBlaster1998

Re: HELP LOSING MY TRACK
Decals and other object skins should be to the power of 2, otherwise they will mess up. So:
64x64
128x128
256x256
512x512
1024x1024
Is good and common sizes. Usually not going lower than 256x256, but they're still eligible to use.

Re: HELP LOSING MY TRACK
From what I remember the error occurs when a shp file does not have how many lines of code the game has to read so it crashes? Try removing collision files and try again

Didn't know that. Thanks.GregDearman wrote:From what I remember the error occurs when a shp file does not have how many lines of code the game has to read so it crashes? Try removing collision files and try again

I have done that a lot and for me it just doesn't have any collision.GregDearman wrote:From what I remember the error occurs when a shp file does not have how many lines of code the game has to read so it crashes? Try removing collision files and try again

Re: HELP LOSING MY TRACK
SMR I'm not quite sure what you mean?
Re: HELP LOSING MY TRACK
If you leave the first line out of the SHP that says how many spheres are in it the game doesn't crash. The only thing that happens is your collision won't work. That isn't his problem.GregDearman wrote:SMR I'm not quite sure what you mean?
