I know it's a long ways away, but i'm super pumped. :D
some tech specs:
-whoops 12ft peak to peak spacing, any closer and you always slide out, any farther and you can't blitz, at least at 3 feet high
-track, as you see it, is 36ft wide. -2 on each side for blending, -1.5 on each side for bales, 29 ft rideable area
-jumps good for whipping (always a plus), but no kickers
-seems vegas has lots of line options, i'm thinking of adding some user friendly ruts on the insides as well to allow more passing options

I think the stadium will definitely be cool to see. Hopefully the collisions won't be that hard to do.

I'm gonna do Salt Lake City. I already asked Wilson about it. I will also be using my own stadium model, because of the start being outside of the stadium, but may look for some help when it gets to the skinning stage. Also, JLV, I will make sure to send it to you probably 2 or 3 weeks in advance so you can approve or deny it.

im voting for inside ruts and a better traction for the rest of the east coast rounds :)

made racing alot better honestly, and actually use of insides

Agreed, inside ruts are a must! Noobs take the outside, pros make passes on the insides. Great racing all around. A little bit less initial friction as well, way to easy to loop out even with moderate throttle.

The ruts shouldn't start as early as they did with Daytona. If you are going a tad too fast into the centre of the corner, you hit the rut and flip it.

Quick look at daytona. I say the ruts were fairly decent. If anything was off, it's that they didn't extend far enough into the next straight. Not flipping over the rut because of coming into the corner too hot is an exercise in bike control if nothing else.

Daytona should not be taken as the standard example of how to make ruts.

The dirt there is bottomless sand. It makes ruts much much differently then other types of soil.

I was kinda just backing jlv up on his berm making at daytona, after DJ said they started a little too early. I agree, ruts on other sx tracks won't be so severe, but the east coast rounds for sure need ruts.
