For any and all that might know about this...Why do so many games get the layers wrong? e.g. The rubber build-up or skid mark layer tends to float about 4 inches above the displayed track surface. I was in Project Cars 2 and saw it today. I think last time I saw it, it was Race '07 or a spin-off. I know RF 2 is good, but saw it in other driving games.
It, it.
How often can you put that shit in a post?

Re: Track Graphics Question
Probably to work around z fighting problems.

Re: Track Graphics Question
Ah. Thanks. iRacing had a similar problem a while back where the vehicle would do that. Levitate. Makes sense with how seldom you actually see it versus the uglier z-fighting.

Re: Track Graphics Question
It wouldn't be something you'd do for an entire vehicle. It's just for decals.
