How do i make a good 90 degree berm in ps
How do i make a 90 degree berm using this method http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... =11&t=3992
I have the 180 one figured out. I can't seem to figure the 90 degree one out, i have been trying for a while now. When i do it there isn't a smooth transition on the edges of the berm.

Lots and lots of ways to skin every cat there is when it comes to trackmaking in PS.
Personally I'd use a lot of smudge.
You could also try a radial blur. Or you could try a layer mask with gradiants (or get fancy with a RADIAL gradiant over the top). Or lay a gradiant mask over the top basically at a 45 degree angle.
Go ride Blackhawk Hollow, MX Jones, or Pottawattamie.
I make my best ruts and berms by drawing a freehand arch of some kind or using the pen tool to make one. Then I smudge smudge smudge the ends (low pressure, like 12%) by clicking slow to the middle then swooping outward "along the path of motion". Do both ends. Then do the same thing to the very far ends.
Then I usually smudge the whole thing from the top of the berm towards the center of the corner. Then smudge from the start of the corner to the end, click and swoop just like I was riding thru the corner. Maybe throw a gaussian blur here at the end just to smooth out any rough spots.
Sounds like a lot of complicated work, but I can make a really nice corner in honestly 20 seconds. Then a trip into the game to test, and another 20 seconds in photoshop to tweak.
I uploaded my PSD file for pottawattamie. http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... mie#p89620 Check it out. I'll upload mine for Blackhawk Hollow too.

Just follow the steps ...If done right theres no smudging or blurring needed...But yes there is certain situations that you need to smudge or blur

That dosen't directly work for a 90 degree berm because because the gradiant overlay (as they do in those steps) only goes in 1 direction. For a 90 degree berm you need it going in 2 directions. (up and down as well as left and right)

2 gradients aren't needed, mask it out at a 45 degree angle apexing at the tip of the corner
